Adamawa state is a state in the North-East geographical zone of Nigeria. It shares borders with Gombe, Borno, and Taraba, and forms part of the national Cameroon. There are lots of beautiful things to know about Adamawa state Yola and its history.

It is significant to know that Adamawa is the eighth (8^th) largest state in the area and the thirteenth (13^th) least populous state with an estimated population of about 4.25 million as of 2016. Adamawa State is majorly composed of high mountains, rivers, and wildlife parks among others. Located in the south is the Gashaka Gumti National Park a large wildlife park that houses populations of African buffalo, Bushbuck Patas Monkey, Giant Pangolin, and Hippopotamus.
